Local Skin Bar was created as a place to slow down.
Life moves quickly, and most of us spend our days moving from one thing to the next without much space to pause. We wanted to create a place where people could step away from that for a moment. A place where you can walk in exactly as you are, take a breath, and leave feeling better than when you arrived.
Skincare is at the heart of what we do. Healthy skin builds confidence, and caring for it can be a powerful act of self-care. But the experience matters just as much as the treatment itself. The lighting, the music, the scent in the room, the conversations we have — every detail is intentional. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that feels warm, personal, and calming from the moment you arrive.
Local Skin Bar is also deeply rooted in the Beaches community. We love being part of a neighbourhood where people value connection, conversation, and supporting local businesses. Clients may come in for a facial, but what we hope they take with them is something more lasting: a sense of calm, confidence, and connection.

I started Local Skin Bar because I believed great skin shouldn't require a cold, clinical experience to get there. My background is in medical aesthetics, and I take the science seriously — but what I care about just as much is how you feel when you walk in and when you walk out.
My approach is equal parts education and intuition. I want to understand your skin's history before I recommend anything, and I want you to leave every appointment knowing more about your skin than when you arrived.
For me, a great facial isn't just about the hour in the treatment room. It's about building something that lasts.
